Varsha Sharma is an anchor and host at Doordarshan Hyderabad. She is also a poet and was invited by All India Radio, DRDL, CDFD, Steel Authority of India, and Kendriya Hindi Sansthan. She is an Advisory Board Member Vaak Foundation, and contributed to Major Dhyanchand Khel Ratna Kavya Sarovar, a unique collection of poems on 55 Khel Ratna awardees, which was recognized by the Golden Book of World Records in 2022 and also earned the appreciation of President Ramnath Kovind. She received Kavya bhaskar and  Kavya maneeshi awards, and was nominated for the CBS Stree Shakti Award (2023).
