Triparna Banerjee is a filmmaker and screenwriter. Her work has been showcased at film festivals in Toronto, Busan, CPH: DOX, Palm Springs, and Rotterdam, and acknowledged at L’atelier Cinéfondation at the Cannes Film Festival, HAF at the Hong Kong Film Festival, and APM at Busan International Film Festival. Her short film Nails premiered at the Red Sea International Film Festival (2024). Her documentary feature, From the Shadows, was awarded the Hatched grant by Chicken & Egg Pictures, USA, and was nominated for the One World Media Awards (2023), and received the National Awards (2024). She is a visiting faculty at Annapurna College of Film and Media and at Breda University, Netherlands.
