Somdatta Karak is a biologist turned science communicator. She makes biology more accessible and understandable to young people. She co-founded SciCity, Hyderabad, to bring science to cultural conversations of the city. She heads science communication and public outreach at CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB).
