Krishna Reddy is a cardiologist, health systems leader, and global advocate for noncommunicable disease (NCD) prevention and management. As CEO of ACCESS Health International and a member of the Board of Trustees of the United States Pharmacopeia, he works closely with governments, civil society, and academia across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East to strengthen health systems, advance non-communicable disease programmes, and improve access to affordable, high-quality care. He is a co-founder of Care Hospitals, and also founded Relisys Medical Devices, through which he spearheaded the development of indigenous advanced cardiac device technology, including India’s first coronary stent—the Kalam-Raju stent.
