Manjari Katju is a professor of Political Science at the University of Hyderabad, and author of Electoral Practice and the Election Commission of India: Politics, Institutions and Democracy (2023) and Hinduising Democracy: The Vishva Hindu Parishad in Contemporary India (2017). She researches and writes on themes of religious nationalism and state institutions.
