Inga Marie Ramcke is a science educator based in Hamburg, Germany. She is a member of the children’s book writer network Elbautoren and focuses on non-fiction. Her books are published by German, Danish, and Russian publishing houses. Through the science communication project Plötzlich Wissen!, she also works with adult audiences. Across both areas, she uses puppeteering to engage audiences of all ages with sustainable development topics. Her books cover space science, biology, and physics, while her adult work focuses on seas and oceans, combining playfulness, interaction, humour, and accessibility. Her approach encourages curiosity, dialogue, creativity, empathy, understanding, and scientific engagement.
