Vivek Mukherjee is an Assistant Professor of Law and the Faculty Coordinator of the Animal Law Centre at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. He has contributed to an international study of the Harvard Law School on Animal Markets & Zoonotic Diseases, and led partnerships with Yale, Barcelona, NYU, Tel Aviv, Lewis & Clark Law School, Kent Law School, Cambridge Centre for Animal Rights Law, producing actionable insights. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and popular national and international media, including The Citizen, Economic & Political Weekly, and the Journal of Indian Law and Society. His co-authored book on privacy and religious freedom in India is forthcoming.
