Sagarika Melkote is a dyed-in-the-wool, true-blue Hyderabadi, by birth and by choice. She has seen the rapidly changing face of the city over the last fifty- plus years, but there’s no place else that she’d want to call home. She was an engineer by qualification and profession till some years ago, when she gave it all up for no particular reason. She prefers the company of books and dogs now, though not necessarily in that order! She is a recreational marathon runner, an avid bird watcher and wildlife enthusiast, hopelessly addicted to travelling, and a Scrabble maniac.
