Ponnari Gottipati is a research management professional and Associate Director – Research at the LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, whose work focuses on strengthening research systems and practices. Trained in life sciences, she holds a PhD from the University of Sheffield and completed her postdoctoral work at the University of Oxford, UK. She is a recipient of the India Research Management Initiative award, recognised as an Emerging Leader under the IVLP programme of the US Department of State, and a current WomenLift Health India Fellow. A science outreach enthusiast, she co-founded the Superheroes Against Superbugs initiative to raise awareness on the global health threat of antimicrobial resistance.
