Vikhar Ahmed Sayeed is a journalist currently working as a Senior Deputy Editor at Frontline magazine. In his 17 years at this magazine devoted to long-form journalism, he has reported on diverse themes including politics, communalism, gender, rural and urban deprivation, agriculture, caste, environment, literature, cinema, history, and music. His video documentary Together We Sing (2024) on the syncretic celebrations that mark Muharram in north Karnataka won the Human Rights and Religious Freedom Journalism Award (2025) in the category of Best Story on Human Solidarity.
