Mahua Sen is an author, editor, and translator. She recently published The Dead Fish (2025), an English translation of Rajkamal Chaudhary’s Hindi novel Machhli mari hui.  Her poetry book, Nostalgia Crafting a Home Within (2023), won the prestigious Maharshi Ved Vyas International Award (2024) and was also shortlisted for the Banaras Lit Fest Award (2025). She has co-authored more than 70 books, edited three anthologies, and written essays, articles, short stories, and poetry for national and international ezines and newspapers.
